Democrat running for George Santos Congressional Seat: “Both Trump and Biden are under water”

Former Democratic Congressman from New York, Tom Suozzi, is running for the seat vacated by disgraced Representative George Santos. And he is running against the Republicans and, it seems, against his own party.

While appearing on Morning Joe he spewed the usual nonsense about getting things done in Congress and being bipartisan. He has to run against his party somewhat since his seat was captured by Republican Santos. Trump did very well in that district in 2020.

At one point in the interview the questioner asked him, incredulously, whether he was running as a “reformer.” Suozzi is career, establishment politician who will obviously say anything for political self-promotion.
